The Beginnings of Eve at Erin Ridge

At the edge of St. Albert sits four acres of land waiting to be developed, a blank slate for something exciting and fresh for the local community. Behind that land is a story. A story filled with inspiration for an active community, a vision for comfort and family-focused space, and a plan to build a community that is sustainable. To many, it may appear that the construction is the beginning of the Eve townhome community. In fact, construction is more like chapter nine of the story behind Eve! 

Here is our story behind Eve at Erin Ridge, a place we look forward to building and sharing with each of you.

Vision

Our team wanted this project to be an extension of the Landrex Ventures core values by focusing on innovation, sustainability, and community. With this as the foundation of the project, we began to conceptualize a townhome community that would serve a range of residents, in different stages of their home buying journey. We understood Erin Ridge North to be a highly desirable place to live, and wanted to offer a product that appealed to a market not wanting or needing a single family home. Our research led us to young professionals, new families, and downsizers who were wanting accessible elegance in a sought-after neighbourhood.

Design

Researching other townhome communities, we saw a clear need to shake up the typical townhome design and add more value for the price point. Pulling inspiration from the modern, urban-styled townhomes available in Vancouver, we saw an opportunity to bring a wide range of architectural styles paired with private and shared green space to beautiful St. Albert.

 

Eve is designed with luxurious interior and exterior features while maintaining a small footprint. Space, layout, and design are key factors in our vision for Eve at Erin Ridge. Architecturally, each home will have an open concept, 10-foot ceilings, and large windows. We have seen our share of dark townhomes and we wanted to create a space that is spacious, luxurious, and filled with natural light. As well, keeping with that family focused, active lifestyle vibe, there will be two car garages for extra storage space and parking.

Outdoor space

At Landrex Ventures, our team shares a vision of building healthy, happy communities. 

The plan for Eve and Erin Ridge includes accessible, beautiful green space that can be used by everyone in the Eve community and their guests. Each home will have green space in front of their home and will have access to a large communal courtyard for outdoor activities.  We want to promote an active lifestyle through an outdoor living space that allows for walking, running, playing with those furry friends, and spending time with neighbours outside.

Location

Eve at Erin Ridge will be built in the vibrant, flourishing community of St. Albert. Named one of the best places to live in Canada, St. Albert offers a small town feel with urban amenities. Filled with life and culture, this city has endless trails and parks, and embraces the development of new recreational facilities.

Eve residents will be situated close to the Anthony Henday, making travel to and from Edmonton more accessible. Erin Ridge North is home to several sought-after public schools and  new commercial shopping areas. As well, the Eve townhomes are conveniently close to the Costco.

Inspiration

Family legacy plays a large role in the inspiration behind the location, name, and branding of this project. Eve at Erin Ridge has influence from Ryan’s (Landrex Ventures President) grandmother, whose name is Evangeline. Initially, the name was planned to be Evangeline Gardens, with preliminary design plans zoning for a large garden space in the centre of the complex. After much deliberation, Evangeline was shortened to “Eve,” which reflected a modern generation but with an eye to timeless taste.

Supporting the local business community

While growing our business, we strive to help other business owners grow their venture. Supporting local business is an unwavering value we share and implement daily in our business transactions.

Eve at Erin Ridge townhome interiors will be professionally designed and managed by Tribal Mud Design. Several other contractors who were heavily involved in the project include Boss Designs Ltd, Pixels & Relish, Origami E-Commerce and BSocial Communications
